What that does and does not influence

It influences nothing about the dates. The tree dates on this site are drawn from documented tradition and cited on each country page. No retailer has paid to move a date earlier, and no retailer ever will, because the whole point of the site collapses if the answer is for sale.

Product links are grouped by category rather than by individual product, deliberately. We are not trying to review forty artificial trees we have never touched.
