What actually happens
Brazil’s Southern Hemisphere summer Christmas means trees are almost always artificial with faux snow for a “wintry” aesthetic; Rio de Janeiro’s famous floating Christmas tree on the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon is typically lit in late November to early December each year.
